Kimberly Fore — Author

Welcome to the nightmares in my head

About

Kimberly lives in Florida with her children, dogs and husband. A nurse by day and thrill writer by night, she is currently enrolled in a fiction writing degree. She has been a nurse for over twenty years, and has had experience from everything and anything trauma related.  She loves the ocean, and all of the sports surrounding it. Not only is she a water bug, she can also be found mountain biking, typically coming back from the trails bumped and bruised.  She churns out short stories at times to help her relax, but ultimately wants to finish and publish her novel she has been working on in conjunction with her schooling and “day job.”

Kim had always wanted to be a writer, but was encouraged to pursue a “real job” by her family many years ago when graduating high school.  Although she does not regret it at all, she decided she was at a point in her life where she could go back to school for what she actually has always wanted to do. Write.  She doesn’t really hope to inspire, or to change the minds of people, nor does she think she can save the world. Ultimately, what she hopes for is to give people something to think about.  Kim likes to write of the weird, unnatural or uncanny; perhaps bordering on the unnatural or the side of life hidden behind the curtain of reality that we pretend isn’t there.

This may be to the exposure of people at their worst, or it could just be that the author has a tangled web of synapses that unravel in a weird twisted way while she has fingers to the keyboard.  Kim loves learning about ancient civilizations and ancient religions, and how we as a people have changed the original sense of what may have been there.  Whether it was for good, or for bad, is up to the interpreter, or up to the reader perhaps.

She hopes the reader enjoys her works, and stays on the lookout for anything new coming their way!

Kim’s stories always give me goosebumps, fill my heart with dread and my head with questions…..I love how they leave so much up to the interpretation of the reader!
